For most people, music plays a role in everyday life. At Hooper’s School of Music, we help nourish that love of music at an early age. After moving our school from Lockport, we are now offering music lessons in Selkirk. Marilyn Hooper is a certified teacher of elementary piano and music theory and has also taught MYC and Music Pups. Our courses range from Prep to Level 6 for piano instruction, and music theory from Prep to Level 8. We offer private and group piano and theory classes. Students participate in two recitals per year, with optional prep for the Royal Conservatory exams and festival participation.
