St. Mary’s Catholic Church Soup Kitchen has been operating continuously since 1870. Six days a week we serve our community’s poor, homeless and less fortunate. We average more than 300 servings a day – 88,000 in 2014.
Each day we serve beverages, pastries, a meat sandwich, a peanut butter sandwich, a 16-ounce cup of soup, and fruit, candy or chips. For four hours we feed bodies and nourish spirits with a hearty “Good Morning,” praise songs and a wish to “Have a blessed day!” More than 50 volunteers from the tri-state area make this possible. We can provide the meal above to a precious child of God with your support of Time, Talent & Treasure and Prayers! We can use volunteers Monday thru Friday from 7:15 AM to 10:00 AM and donations can be made to St Mary’s Catholic Church Soup Kitchen.
What will the Lord put on your heart to help the poor & homeless eat a nutrious meal?
